Worlds first rasterscroll and a very advanced spritescroller around a picture of King Tut. Name: Go to sleep Released: December the 23rd, 1987 Coding: Jolly Cracker, Mr Vivace and Knatter Graphics: Knatter Music: Knatter Comments: Mr Vivaces first demo as a coder. The last part contained my version of the Pet shop boys "Rent". Jolly Cracker also released the unbugged version of his world-famous raster-scroll in this demo. Name: Microsleep Released: August, 1988 Coding: Mr Cross Graphics: Knatter Music: Knatter Comments: We worked a long time on this demo which filled a whole disk. Mr Cross had recently built his own sampler which he used (a lot) for this demo. We all remember the "LAMER" sample. He also designed his own noisy loader specific for this demo. There can also be found some juicy stuff against Mahoney in some of the parts. Name: Bound to be best Released: 1989 Coding: Mr Vivace and Mr Cross Graphics: Knatter Music: Knatter Comments: We had not released any demos for a year when we decided to show the world once more. Now I used the Soedesound editor for music which gave my tunes a new and improved sound. Name: Bound to be best II Released: May the 26th, 1990 Coding: Jolly Cracker, Mr Vivace and Mr Cross Graphics: Knatter Music: Knatter Comments: Well, What can you say? We sure went out with a bang. We decided to make something that you would never forget. The last sideborder "No sleep II"-clone by Mr Cross was never remade by any other group up to this day. Mr Cross spent months on this routine where he made a complex assembler program that calulated the exact timing and created the code for this very complex sideborder scroll that filled the entire memory of a C64. Phew...That's 23 pieces released under the name of XAKK, and four years of fun!
